Double J Productions aims to seek new perspectives in all our films through imaginative, creative and artistic storytelling. We hope that by showcasing meaningful stories through a more rounded point of view we can create more relatable stories, open our minds to new ideas and can reach a wider audience to connect with.
Business
We operate an independent video production company based in London, U.K. and Austin, TX, focused on writing, developing, and producing ideas from the script to the screen. We have the ambition to thrive on imagination, creativity, and use unique perspectives to tell meaningful stories. At the moment, our company is writing and producing first party projects, and generates revenues thanks to distribution agreements, option agreements, theatrical releases, and streaming platforms agreements.
Media
Double J Productions has produced six funded short films ranging from 8 minutes to 20 minutes to date, and is currently underway with out first multi-million dollar feature film.
Our films have gone on to screen at SOHO House private cinema and Cine Lumiere Cinema, as well multiple BAFTA & Oscar qualifying film festivals.
Further partnerships include sponsorship from PickleJar Flix, where you can find our film app for “Curiouser” here. We partnered with Picture House Central for the launch party.
In 2022, Double J launched the first ever pitch competition where a winner received £15,000 to produce a short film under our guidance.
Services
Our services include ideation, development, and production, on top of a wide range of additional services such as casting and hiring professional casts and crews to ensure that stories can come to life with the highest quality standards.
